I have a problem with my ARS-2030T 1-3 duplicator.

Tray 1 does not record. 2 & 3 are fine but at the end of recording the display says Fail-01 (presumably meaning tray 1)

We have swapped over the drives and eliminated that the drives are all ok, now updated the firmware and we still have the problem.

Does anyone know what the problem could be?

Thanks

Reply from Disk Depot - [ The first thing we'd suggest doing is to update the firmware on both the controller and on each of the DVD writers themselves. If this doesn't solve the problem then we'd suggest replacing the three writers. They're quite inexpensive now and it's generally best to keep them all as the same model of drive.

We've found that it's highly unusual for the controller itself to become faulty as there aren't any moving parts- they usually last a very long time.

If the drives and/or controller are still under warranty and you purchased them from Disk Depot, please contact sales@diskdepot.co.uk for further support. Hope this helps. ]
