This is a guide for those of you who wish to reinstall the firmware on your Cyclone Android Media Centre. (Click here to buy the Cyclone Android if you do not already own it.)
Firmware Download
The first step is to download the firmware itself. Here’s the link:-
Download Sumvision Cyclone Android Media Centre Firmware (RAR file) (82MB approx)
Installation of Cyclone Android Firmware
Now you have the firmware, here’s how to install it.
Extract the RAR archive you’ve just downloaded.
You should get two files “c03ref-ota-eng.rwf.zip” and “uImage_recovery”.
Copy both these files onto the root directory of an empty SD card.
Connect the device to your TV. (It is advised to connect via HDMI).
Do NOT plug in the power adapter yet.
Plug in the SD card.
On the bottom of the devices there are two silver stickers, “reset” and “update”.
Under the case of the device, you should be able to see two white buttons on the circuit board.
Using a paper clip or other fine pint, press and hold down the button nearest the “update” sticker.
Now plug in the power.
The firmware update screen should appear after a few seconds.
Select “wipe data / factory reset”.
You will be given a list of “No” and “Yes”. Select “Yes – delete all your user data”.
(This will obviously delete all your user data!!)
Then select “wipe cache partition”.
Once this is done select “apply update”. This will initiate the firmware update for the device.
Finally, when the update is done select “reboot system now” to restart the device and bring you to the main Android launchers selection screen.
You’re done.

Alternate Installation Method
Alternatively, you can update the firmware by selecting the upgrade option from the applications menu when inside the Android OS (assuming, of course, that you can get in). Select “c03ref-ota-eng.rwf.zip” to update the device.
