Taiyo Yuden is almost universally considered to be the most reliable brand of CDs and DVDs on the market (arguably Verbatim come close, though no other company do). TY played a major part in the development of CD-R discs, and were the first to present a recordable CD to the public.
Even though our prices are highly competitive, the fact remains that genuine TY discs are never cheap. People buy them because, quite simply, TY produce exceptionally high-quality media.
Some TY-manufactured discs have been sold under various names by other brands, but these haven't necessarily been subject to the same quality control that TY's own discs are.
There are lots of counterfeit TYs about in the UK- if the price is too good to be true, it usually is! Another source of fakes is obscure sellers on auction websites. We source our TY media from one of the UK's largest distributors so you can rest assured that they're genuine.
