Continuous Ink Supply Systems (or simply CISS) provide significant cost and time savings to users who print regularly to paper or direct to disc surfaces. Instead of replacing cartridges, the continuous ink supply system provides ink to the printer which can be topped up with compatible ink only when needed. The system includes six cartridges which are connected to six seperate ink reservoirs. The reservoirs are vacuumed with air - this pushes the ink through the tubing and into the head of the printer supplying a smooth and constant rate of ink flow, allowing for superb, consistant printing all the time. Because the cartridge chips do not need to be reset, no chip re-setter is required.
The kit itself is very simple to setup, however a setup guide is provided with the kit that provides you with a simple explanation of how to get started - you may alternatively view the example setup guide below:

Each ink container holds the equivalent of around 7 original cartridges, and are pre-filled to get you started. Once you have used the initial supplied dye-based ink the tanks can be easily refilled with the compatible ink also available at Disk Depot. You only need to top up on colours that require it (there is a guide line on the containers to warn you when your ink is running low). The kit is supplied with cyan, magenta, yellow, light cyan, light magenta and black 80ml ink containers.
