Very expensive for a long time, dual Layer DVDs have recently fallen drastically in price. The first DVD+DL disc to pioneer the price drop is this latest disc from Bulkpaq. The top surface is bright orange which makes this disc stick out from the rest. The bottom is deep dark purple and uses the same CMC MAG D01 dye as it's printable counterpart. We've fully tested this DVD+DL disc right up to 8.5GB and were more than happy with it's performance.
Please ensure your burner supports DVD+R DL media. (Most drives sold in the past couple of years will be fine.) If it has the "double-rectangle" DVD+R DL logo (click here to view), it will definitely be fine. If in any doubt, please check the manual
Although we always recommend that you keep your drive's firmware up-to-date (check the manufacturer's website for this), we particularly recommend that you do this if you intend using dual layer media, regardless of the brand.
