The Philips name has always stood for quality- that might be why their discs are so popular. Now, with this latest CD-R, they've gone one better, because it includes a LightScribe-printable surface. Lightscribe is an amazing technology that allows users of Lightscribe-enabled drives to burn their disc "labels" using the drive itself- simply flip the disc over, put it back in, and let your drive's laser do the work.
You don't need a printer at all! This amazing technology includes everything you need inside the drive itself- the lasers are actually designed to work in conjunction with the special "surface" on the discs and "burn" your picture onto its surface- simply flip the disc over and let your drive do all the hard work. All you need to do is to make sure that both drive and discs are Lightscribe-compatible.
10 discs in "cake tub" packaging. Each disc holds 700MB of data, or 80 minutes of pristine digital audio. Please note that printing these discs requires Lightscribe-enabled drive.
