DVDs in this section are for use in drives that support the DVD-R ("minus" or "dash" R) format. They're certified as burnable at 8x speed, but some drives will let you burn them at up to 12x
These DVDs can only be written to once, have a single recording layer and store a maximum of 4.7GB per disc. Our DVD-Rs come in both printable and non printable (pen-writable/branded surface) versions and are our most popular range. (Printable or non-printable surfaces make no difference to the business of actually recording data to the disc).
