These DVDs are for use in drives that support the minus format. These DVDs can only be written to once, have a single recording layer and store a maximum of 4.7GB per disc. These DVDs are available in different pack sizes from 25 discs up to 100 discs and are suitable for Data, Music, Video or Games. 4x DVDs are relatively old technology now and as DVD writers have dropped dramatically in price, most people use 8x or faster DVDs.
It is becoming increasingly difficult to obtain 4x media from our suppliers, as most disc manufacturers have ceased production in favour of 8x and 16x discs. From time to time we do stock 4x media, but we currently do not have any in stock.
If your drive only supports up to 4x burning and you do not wish to upgrade to a newer model, don't worry - our 8x or 16x discs will still work in these drives. |
